You need Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher
Log on to www.nko.navy.mil
You will be sent to a secure site
Read and click OK on the DOD consent notice banner
You register as a new user
Site will create user name for you
Create a password
Passwords must contain a minimum of 14 characters including at least one lowercase letter, one upper case letter, one number and one special character
Passwords must be reset every 60 days
Navy General Library Program has absorbed the costs of offering access to the Web sites located on NKO and provides them to you at no cost. You must be an eligible user to log in to NKO
