About the Base Library

- We are located inside the Dealey Plaza, next to ITT. Our hours of operation are Monday thru Friday 10:30am until 7:00pm. Saturday hours are from 12:00 until 4:00pm. We are closed Sundays and holidays.~*~*~*~*~*~ The circulation desk phone number is 860-694-3723. You CAN re-new library materials over the phone, provided that no other library patrons are waiting for that material.~*~*~*~*~*~ The library collection has over 22,000 books, over 350 Playaways numerous Audio books on CD and cassette tape. An impressive language section. An ever growing childrens section and Young Adult section. Not to mention a well balanced Reference section.~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ The library also has over 1,300 DVD's, many of which are newly released.~*~*~*~*~*~ The library also gladly accepts donations of books and DVD's.
